The menu showcases a thoughtful selection of irresistible desserts and comforting light meals. For those eager to try something unique, the baked yellow sweet potatoes topped with burnt sugar butter create a curious yet satisfying flavor combination that surprises the palate — "ugly but nice," as one reviewer charmingly put it. Stopped by for a quick coffee and dessert after lunch — and wished we had more time (and stomach space) for it! We got lucky with a window seat on the second floor since it was quite packed. The chocolate brûlée crepe was delicious—soft, balanced, and not too heavy. The mochi looked bigger on the menu but was still fun and tasty; we almost ordered more but decided to save room for dinner. The drip coffee was full-bodied and aromatic. I asked for a black one, though it still came with condensed milk. Overall, great spot for a sweet break with cozy vibes and good coffee.

Found this gem online and had to check it out - and wow, it did not disappoint. We started with some mains for brunch, but let’s be honest, we were really here for the desserts. Ordered drinks, cheesecake, and brownies… and let me just say, god damn. The cheesecake was creamy perfection, and even though I usually avoid cheese, it looked too good to pass up - and I survived every bite. The brownie? Pure bliss. Rich, fudgy, and it honestly felt like it exploded with flavor in my mouth. The atmosphere added to the whole experience. Their playlist was so good I couldn’t stop singing and moving along while eating - I left feeling happy, full, and already wanting to come back. If you’re in Batam and looking for a spot that nails both taste and vibes, Mula Patisserie is the place.

The food tastes good. The cappuccino is great! The staff are friendly. The only thing that bothers me is the smell when we entered the cafe. We nearly make a U-turn! It smells weird and the toilet needs a scrub! Otherwise all is good!

Nov 2025 11am We had chocolate burnt cheese cake, baked yellow sweet potatoes top with burnt sugar butter [looks ugly but nice], sandwich n mushroom sandwich. Many customers happy customers dine in but not crowded yet. Fast service. Soon after we left crowds started. More seats on 2nd floor level seatings. Atmosphere is welcoming. So come early if your particular about fast services. Will come again same time when holiday here again to try out other dishes.

Discovered Mula patisserie through the TikTok hype, and I must say it lived up to part of the buzz! The waiting time was around 30 minutes, which wasn’t too bad considering how popular the place has become. The meals themselves were decent , not extraordinary, but enjoyable enough. However, the real highlight was definitely the cakes, beautifully made, rich in flavor, and absolutely worth the visit. Despite the crowd (and a noticeable number of fellow Singaporeans flocking there), the overall experience was pleasant. If you’re in Batam and love a good dessert spot with a trendy vibe, Mula patisserie is worth checking out.

I found this cafe while browsing for popular spots in Batam — it was highly recommended by many. The ambiance was nice, and the service was great too. The desserts were delicious, especially the brownie — the chocolate inside was warm and gooey!
